What we are Able to Offer

Tom Thumb offers quality care for children from 1 year of age all the way up to 11 years of age. We provide a stimulating, clean, safe and nurturing environment for all children in our care and are well practiced in providing and developing age appropriate activities that children love to join in with.

We also have an enclosed, all weather garden that allows for all of the children to have access to the outdoors whether its simply for a run around or for an extension to the activities they have been taking part in in the indoor environment.

Our premises allow for children to be cared for in age groups and the groups are split as follows:

Imps- aged 1year to approximately 2 1/2 years

Pixies - aged 2 1/2 years to approximatley 3 1/2 years

Elves - aged 3 1/2 years to approximately 4 1/2 years

Sprites - aged 4 years up to 11 years

All of the age groups listed above follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is set out into four themes and then follows six aspects of development. Each group plans activities that are age appropriate and fun to carry out that meet the learning objectives set out in the EYFS. As well as specfic activities we like to get messy and have lots of fun playing with things like shaving foam, jelly, pasta, ketchup and anything else we can think of!
